ICF Anti-Fraud Waste and Abuse in San Juan, Puerto Rico
ICF seeks an Anti-Fraud Waste and Abuse Specialist for a major Disaster Recovery Program. This position is full time and based at ICF s offices in Puerto Rico.
This will be an extremely fast-paced project and while the work will be hard, the rewards will be great as we do our part to help rebuild Puerto Rico.

This position is based out of our Puerto Rico office and fluency in Spanish and English is an essential requirement. Preference will be given to local Puerto Rico applicants or those wishing to move back to Puerto Rico with current knowledge of local regulations.
The Anti-Fraud Waste and Abuse Specialist will work with the Program Manager to obtain information and reports on any instances of possible fraud, waste and abuse and will coordinate an investigation of the allegations. The AFWA Coordinator will conduct an investigation on fraud, waste and abuse allegations to ensure the issue is resolved as soon as possible. The coordinator will recommend a course of action to ensure there is limited interruption in services provided and to allow for the investigation to proceed.
Hold regular meetings with the Program Director to review any possible claims of fraud, waste and abuse.
Open a file with information on any claims or allegations, including name, location, duties and responsibilities, and a detailed description on the situation that gave rise to the allegation.
Conduct an investigation of the allegations and prepare a report to discuss with the Program Director.
Meet with the Program Director to review the findings and make a recommendation on how proceed, including disciplinary actions and removal of staff.
At the discretion of the Program Director, the AFWA Coordinator and the Program Director will meet with the client to discuss the findings and recommend a course of action
Keep track of all allegations and investigations and maintain ongoing records of issue resolution.
Qualifications and Education Requirements
Investigation background, especially financial fraud investigations.
Prior experience with FEMA policies and procedures preferred.
Strong client relationship management.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Knowledge of smartphone apps, MS Office, Data Information System, Excellent Organizational & Time Management Skills.
Bi-Lingual Spanish and English
