Seaborne Airlines Training Specialist and Analyst in San Juan, Puerto Rico

Qualification Standards

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience with at least two (5) years related experience.

  • Computer Literate and Microsoft Office, (Excel, Power Point, Word, Outlook, Project Management) Knowledge

  • Strong customer service skills

  • Ability to conduct cost-benefit analysis and calculate training ROI

  • Sound decision making and organizational skills

  • Ability to present complex information to a variety of audiences

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills

  • Experience with or willingness to learn how to use Computer Base Training

  • Good analytical skills

  • Ability to work as part of a team and on own initiative

  • Problem solving and decision making skills

  • Ability to work under pressure, to multi-task and a diversity of priorities

  • Efficient and organized with good attention to detail

  • Experience in organizing events such as seminars, workshops or conferences

  • Fluent in English and Spanish

  • Researches, plans, organizes and conducts training programs, safety seminars, and conferences for clerical, supervisory, technical, and lower-level management personnel.

  • Confer with Department Managers to determine training needs as to type, extent and scope, schedules and procedures.

  • Writes material for new training programs; reviews, evaluates, and modifies existing and proposed programs, and recommends appropriate changes.

  • Administers and evaluates training program qualification tests and determines eligibility of prospective attendees.

  • Prepares and distributes training aids such as instructional material, handouts, evaluation forms, and visual aids; sets up audiovisual equipment and makes presentations when necessary.

  • Contacts attendees and department representatives about training program.

  • Schedules the appropriate classroom and prepares the physical setup.

  • Ability to communicate with company employees, trainers from other departments and stations by phone, in person, or through correspondence.

Working Conditions and Physical Effort

  • Work is normally performed in a typical interior/office work environment.
